# Off-Page Citations

> The third-party sources AI cites when it recommends a product — by domain type, benchmarked against the category, down to the domains that don't mention you yet.

The Off-Page Citations tab shows the third-party sources — reviews, forums, references, and directories — that AI cites when it mentions a product, benchmarked against the product's category. It answers where a product's AI visibility actually comes from, and where it's missing.

## The week's coverage

Two numbers open the tab:

* **Mentioned Responses** — how many of the category's AI responses mentioned the product this week (e.g. 34 of 79).
* **Domain Coverage** — how many of the third-party domains cited in the category also mention the product, with the count of domains not yet covered.

## Domain Type Distribution

The product's share of third-party citations by domain type — reviews, references, directories, UGC, news, and social media — shown side by side with the category average. Use the gap to spot under-indexed channel types and prioritize where to invest your PR or content.

## Citation Source Coverage

Every third-party source cited in the category's responses, as a table: the domain, its type, its citation rate in the category, how many responses cited it, and whether the product is mentioned there.

Expand any domain row to see its **cited URLs** — the exact pages AI pulled from, each with its citation count.

Filter the table three ways — **All**, **Mentioned**, or **Not Mentioned**. The *Not Mentioned* view is the actionable one: domains AI already trusts for this category where the product has no presence yet — a ready-made target list for PR, reviews, and distribution. Export the table with **Export CSV** \[Pro].
