Find out why AI does not name your brand.
AI answers buying questions by searching first and picking from what it finds. This walks that path backwards — from whether it names you at all, down to whether a bot can even read the page you would send a buyer to. Five screens, about ten minutes, and you finish with a short list of what to change and why.

The Access step: robots.txt read live, with the lines that blocked the crawler and the lines to add.
What the check covers
- Whether AI names you at all when a buyer asks the question you sell into — asked in a fresh chat so past conversations do not tilt the answer.
- Whether your robots.txt lets ChatGPT’s crawler and Bing’s crawler in, with the exact lines that decided it and the lines to add.
- Whether a bot can actually use one page you pick — the response, the indexing rules, and whether the page names itself as the real address.
- What a bot reads off that page — date, title, H1, headings — set beside your own buying question so you can see whether the words match.
- Where to look next once your own site checks out: how AI splits your category, and which outside sources it hears your name from.
How this is measured
Two of the five screens read your site directly, and only when you press the button. We fetch your /robots.txt and the single page URL you enter, follow up to three redirects, and do not crawl onward from either. The user-agent is DecaGEO-GeoGuide/1.0.
We do not pretend to be an AI crawler, so what appears in your logs is us. Nothing about the run is stored on our side — the answers and the report live in your browser, and starting over clears them.
Common questions
What does the check actually look at?
Two things on your site, read live while you wait. It reads your robots.txt to see whether ChatGPT's crawler (`OAI-SearchBot`) and Bing's crawler (`Bingbot`) are allowed in, and it fetches one page you choose to see whether a bot gets a usable answer — the response, the indexing rules, the canonical, and the date, title, H1 and headings it can read off the page. Everything else is a question you answer yourself.
Do I need a paid plan?
No. You need to be signed in, but the check runs on the free tier. Nothing about the result is gated.
Do you store what I check?
No. Your answers and the results live in your browser, not on our servers, so nothing becomes a record on our side. That also means progress does not carry over to another browser or device, and Start over clears it.
Will this show up in my server logs?
Yes, twice: once for `/robots.txt` and once for the page you entered. The user-agent is `DecaGEO-GeoGuide/1.0`. It runs only when someone presses the button — there is no schedule and no crawling onward from either address. We do not pretend to be ChatGPT's crawler, so what you see in your logs is us, not an AI engine.
How is this different from an SEO site audit?
A site audit grades a whole site against a general checklist — speed, broken links, duplicate tags. This walks one buying question end to end: whether AI names you when a buyer asks it, whether a bot can reach the page you would send them to, and whether that page uses the words the question uses. It ends in a short list tied to that one question, not a score.
What do I get at the end?
A report that builds as you answer, with anything worth fixing collected under What to fix — what to change and why. Copy turns the whole thing into Markdown so it pastes into Notion, Slack, or a ticket. The last screen points you at what to look at next: whether AI sees your category the way you do, and which outside sources it hears your name from.
