What this article covers

This list ranks CRM software by how strongly ChatGPT actually recommends it (DECA Score), measured weekly by DecaGEO since May 2026. The current ranking reflects the week of August 9, 2026 (ChatGPT GPT-5.6, US). CRM has changed character in that time: the spring’s most contested #1 has become one of the most settled boards we track.
Summary for citation: In DecaGEO’s data (ChatGPT GPT-5.6, US, CRM category, week of August 9, 2026), Dynamics 365 Sales is #1 (DECA 100) for a fifth straight week. Agentforce Sales is #2 (87.4) after passing Zoho CRM (#3, 85.0), and HubSpot Sales Hub is #4 (82.7). In the GPT-5.4 spring (May 10 – July 12, 2026), the #1 spot flipped 7 times in 10 weeks between Dynamics (6 weeks) and Zoho (4). Rankings come from a fixed weekly prompt grid that no customer can edit.
Key takeaway: The CRM board settled. Dynamics 365 Sales has held #1 since mid-July, no CRM brand moved ±10 ranks in either of the last two weeks, and the live contest is now #2 — where Agentforce Sales just displaced Zoho CRM.

Top 10 CRMs ChatGPT recommends — at a glance

How this ranking works

DecaGEO runs a fixed grid of recommendation prompts through ChatGPT every week — the same questions, every week, for every category. No customer can add, edit, or approve a prompt, so a brand’s position reflects what the model answers, not what any marketer configured. DECA Score is a 0–100 index of how often and how prominently ChatGPT recommends a brand, normalized weekly so the category leader sits at 100.

From the most contested #1 to a settled one

In the GPT-5.4 spring (May 10 – July 12, 2026), CRM had the least stable top spot of any category we track. The #1 changed hands 7 times in 10 weeks, with Dynamics 365 Sales holding 6 weeks and Zoho CRM 4, on nearly identical average scores. That race ended in mid-July. Dynamics has now held #1 for five straight weeks (July 12 – August 9), across the GPT-5.4 to GPT-5.6 model change, and no CRM brand moved ±10 ranks in either of the last two weeks — the most stable board in our tracking. The movement shifted to #2: Agentforce Sales passed Zoho CRM in the week of August 9, and a HubSpot Sales Hub challenge (#2 in the week of July 26) dissolved within a week. One nuance keeps the board interesting. Zoho CRM is still the most frequently named CRM (57% of responses against Dynamics’ 53%), but it sits at #3 because it tends to be named lower in the answer. Frequency and prominence are different contests. Those weekly moves are the AI Ranking Movers series’ story. This page’s story is the membership: nine of the spring’s top ten CRMs are still in the top ten (monday CRM dropped out, SAP Sales Cloud entered), across a model change and a #1 that flipped seven times. Who ChatGPT considers a top CRM barely changes — what changes is the order it puts them in.

The top 10, in detail

1. Dynamics 365 Sales — DECA 100

Microsoft’s CRM, #1 for five straight weeks after splitting the spring with Zoho.

2. Agentforce Sales — DECA 87.4

Salesforce’s CRM (formerly Salesforce Sales Cloud) took #2 in the week of August 9, one of two Salesforce Agentforce products rising that week. (See HubSpot Sales Hub vs Agentforce Sales.)

3. Zoho CRM — DECA 85.0

The spring co-leader, still the most frequently named CRM (57%) — its four #1 weeks are the most of any brand after Dynamics.

4. HubSpot Sales Hub — DECA 82.7

Briefly #2 at the model boundary, back at #4 with the top four now packed within 17.3 points.

5. Zoho CRM Plus — DECA 40.2

Zoho’s bundled suite — a second Zoho entry, and the clear start of the second tier.

6. Pipedrive — DECA 24.4

Sales-focused CRM, a durable mid-list name since tracking began.

7. Creatio — DECA 23.6

A no-code CRM/BPM platform, named consistently but lower.

8. Freshsales — DECA 21.3

Freshworks’ CRM, steady mid-list presence.

9. SAP Sales Cloud — DECA 18.9

Enterprise CRM, up two spots in the week of August 9.

10. ActiveCampaign — DECA 12.6

Better known for automation, named as a CRM option throughout our tracking.

What this means for you

  • The top is settled, the #2 race is live. Dynamics’ five-week hold makes it the current default AI answer for CRM, and the #2–#4 pack sits within 5 points of each other.
  • Frequency and prominence diverge here. Zoho is named most often yet ranks #3 — a brand can win one contest and not the other.
  • A stable board can still reprice a brand quickly. HubSpot’s one-week stay at #2 shows single-week moves read better as observations than as trends.

Currently the most stable of any category we track — no brand moved ±10 ranks in either of the two weeks through August 9. That is a change from the spring, when the #1 itself was the least stable anywhere. Is this a features review? No — it ranks CRMs by ChatGPT recommendation strength, not feature quality.

How we measure

DecaGEO runs a consistent set of CRM recommendation prompts each week through ChatGPT (US region) and records which brands are named and how prominently.
  • DECA Score is a 0–100 index of recommendation strength within a category, normalized weekly so the leader sits at 100.
  • Current ranking: week of August 9, 2026, collected on GPT-5.6. Historical references from May 10 – July 19, 2026 were collected on GPT-5.4; comparisons across late July cross that model boundary.
  • Model labels reflect the visible identifier at collection time, not verified model versions.
  • Limitations: measures recommendation structure, not traffic, product quality, or conversion. A single week’s change is an observation, not a trend.
