Rankings refresh every week, which means your work gets a scoreboard every week. This is the loop DecaGEO is built around — four steps, each living in a screen you’ve already seen. Run it weekly; the order is the point.

Step 1: Diagnose where your visibility comes from

Two tabs on your (or your closest competitor’s) product details answer it:
  • Off-Page Citations — which reviews, forums, and media AI cites in your category, and the Not Mentioned list: sources AI already trusts where you have no presence. That list is your PR and reviews target queue.
  • On-Page GEO Patterns — what the most-cited pages in your category do on-page that yours don’t, down to the HTML.

Step 2: Verify what AI actually says

Before changing anything, read the source material: Prompt & AI Response shows the buyer questions behind your category’s ranking and how AI answered — who it shortlists, in what order, and in its own words. This is the reality your Step 1 findings have to explain.

Step 3: Act on this week’s plays

Your Dashboard turns the diagnosis into an ordered to-do list:
  • Start with Category Basics — the fundamentals almost every top-ranked product in your category already has, sorted by how widespread each is.
  • Then take the Weekly Playbook — the moves behind this week’s actual breakouts, ranked by impact and effort.
Every action ships with a copy-paste AI prompt that applies the play to your own page — the exact rewrite, tag, or markup it calls for.

Step 4: Track whether it worked

Give a change a few weekly cycles, then check two places:
  • Chart History — did your rank, DECA Score, and Mention Rate actually move, and is it holding?
  • Compare — line yourself up against the products above you and watch the signal tags shift from Opportunity and Competitive toward Shared.
Then the loop restarts: this week’s chart is next week’s diagnosis.
